Co-op / cooperative: a member-governed organization where users are also owners.
Resource co-op: a co-op that manages scarce capacity (energy, bandwidth, compute, messaging, etc.) with explicit fairness + congestion rules.
Membership (co-op): a non-transferable credential granting voice/entitlements, typically backed by dues and/or a bond.
Sybil attack: one actor presenting as many accounts to steal voice/subsidies.
Quadratic voting/funding: mechanisms that reduce the influence of pure wealth and favor broad participation.
Fork-and-merge governance: governance that treats divergence as normal (fork), with structured ways to reconcile (merge).
Exit ramp: the ability to export state and leave without losing your history or being trapped.
